The Cat5 Audio/Video Display System (AVDS) broadcasts high resolution audio AND video via Cat5 cable to multiple display stations in real time. Now you can simultaneously reach multiple parties to keep everyone informed. With this system's thin Cat5 cabling, you can place the remote display stations up to 110 meters (360 feet) away from the source. This system consists of a broadcaster (item #29097, not included), a line splitter (item #29669, not included), and a remote unit (one remote unit included) for each remote device you would like to connect.
Since this system is a pure hardware solution, it provides real-time screen transfer without loss of screen quality. Broadcast the source screen at high video resolution, UXGA, up to 1600 x 1200 pixels @75 Hz. An ideal solution for a wide range of multi-screen applications, the AVDS can give real-time data updates at airports, train/bus stations, stock exchanges, etc. It can broadcast entertainment or advertisements in stores, restaurants, etc. and also provide multiple location security monitoring.
The AVDS is also a powerful presentation tool in computer classrooms and training environments, and a great alternative to expensive projectors. In the classroom, the AVDS can perform two important training functions with a simple 2-button controller; send a teacher's screen to all remote monitors or darken all remote monitors to gain students' undivided attention. Durable metal casing ensures a long life. This is an easily expandable system; buy only what you need and add more as you require. Maximum resolution is UXGA (1600 x 1200 pixels at 75 Hz).
