This Ultra2/Ultra3 LVD/SE external VHDCI (Very High-Density Cable Interconnect) cable features 28 AWG double-shielded twisted-pair cabling, ferrites and 0.8mm 68-pin molded connectors to reduce EMI/RFI interference. Designed to meet or exceed SCSI specifications, this cable is primarily used to connect advanced SCSI multiport applications to RAID controllers, and is built with the offset connector so that it may be used in stacking environments.
The small footprint allows up to four channels to be connected on a single card, and offers excellent shielding against data loss. Twisted pair conductors ensure that each data line is paired with a ground line to minimize interference. Foil and braid shielding with 360?? soldering plus ferrite cores with direct shield contact reduce EMI/RFI interference for error-free data transfer.
