This wireless card offers a 54 Mbps data rate with 2.4 GHz frequency. The 802.11g standard operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency band similar to 802.11b, but provides a throughput up to 54 Mbps by using a different radio technology in order to boost overall bandwidth.
